Sometimes adding feathers too. The burning carbonaceous material creates smoke patterns and carbon trails on the surface of the heated ware that remains as decoration after the ware cools When you arrive, you will have a choice of several Raku-ready pots. Each pot will be priced, and you will add the horsehair or feathers to decorate your own creation. It is removed from the kiln around 1400 degrees Fahrenheit and the horsehair is applied to the piece. We also offer memory medallions with your horse’s name.
